Clerk Yarbrough Teams Up with Chicago Wolves Hockey to Offer Game Ticket for Veterans and Military Members

Clerk Karen A. Yarbrough and the Cook County Clerk’s Office are teaming up with the 2022 Calder Cup champion Chicago Wolves to offer Cook County veterans and active-duty military and Reservists/National Guard a free ticket to a regular-season Wolves game for the 2022-23 season.

Veterans who sign up for the Clerk’s Veterans Discount Card program, or those who are already enrolled in the program, are being offered one free ticket for a Wolves home game and the ability to purchase additional tickets at a discount. 

“We are so proud to partner with the Chicago Wolves for the first time to provide this wonderful benefit to our deserving veterans and members of the military,” said Yarbrough. “We thank this great organization for their unconditional support both on and off the ice.”

All Cook County Veterans, active-duty personnel, national guard, reservists, and other members of the military can apply for the free Military and Veterans Discount Program, a public-private partnership that offers reduced costs and benefits to veterans.

The offer is applicable for regular-season home games through April 13, 2023.

Veterans and active-duty military members can redeem a free ticket and purchase additional tickets at fevo.me/cookcountywolves.

Instructions when purchasing tickets:

  1. When purchasing multiple tickets, please be sure to check your seats/section prior to checkout.
  2. All tickets will be delivered to the email address provided. No paper tickets will be printed.
  3. Participants need a mobile device and will present the tickets on their phone for entry to Allstate Arena.
  4. Customers will receive two emails:
    1. A purchase confirmation.
    2. Instructions on how to access the tickets.

Applications for the Clerk’s Veteran Discount Card Program can be completed online at cookcountyclerk.com/veterans, by mail, or at the Clerk’s Veterans Affairs Office, located at 118 N. Clark in Chicago. The office is open Monday through Friday – 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

When applying, Veterans should bring their DD-214, Retired Military Card, CAC Card, or Illinois Driver’s License or State ID – with Veterans Designation.

The Clerk’s Discount Card, which is offered in partnership with the Cook County Office of Veteran’s Affairs, provides veterans with discounts on a wide range of services including food, auto repair, and legal services as well as health and fitness memberships.
